We do all types of frame repair and modification ranging from a simple
hardtail to re-engineering a bad chop. Our fixture allows us to fabricate
and install a hardtail on virtually any swingarm frame as well as
make rake, trail, and stretch modifications.
Shovelhead weld-on hardtail including axle plates: $650
Our Shovelhead Hardtail Kits are constructed of 1"x .120" wall DOM tubing. We use Hardtail Chopper Inc. axle plates that are cast in Washington state. Kit will convert all 4-speed Shovelhead swing-arm frames to rigid. Kit includes frame section, two weld in spuds for top frame rails and installation instructions. Kits are intended to be installed by a certified professional welder. Haifley Brothers Hardtail Kits are 100% American made.

We specialize in fabricating hardtails for shovelhead swingarm frames
using reproduction HCI panhead axle plates to duplicate the look of a stock
panhead hardtail frame. We have built and installed numerous hardtails
on Truimph and BSA frames, both unit and pre unit, as well as a variety of
Japanese bikes -XS 650, CB 650,750,450,400,etc....If the neck on your
factory panhead frame has been molded, raked, and butchered, we can
replace it with a reproduction one. Basically, if it has two wheels we can
hardtail, rake, de-rake, stretch, extend, repair, or otherwise chop it.
