Who's Ready for This? You Are, That's Who...

It's that time again, boys and girls!
Yes indeedy, our annual "Thanks for the support BBQ" is upon us and we just wanted to go ahead and extend a personal invite to all of you lovely folks out there in interweb-land.
We appreciate every customer near and far that has let us do work for them, as well as all of the supporters and folks that leave us comments or pay us compliments on our work.
This BBQ is for all of you, because if you weren't here, we wouldn't be either.

We decided to change it up a bit this year, starting with the fact that it is in November this year and not the springtime as in years past. For those of you not familiar with Arizona in the fall/winter, it is basically some of the best riding weather anywhere in this fine U.S.of A. Keeping that in mind, our good friend Mr. Woods has put together a ride/cruise that will be leaving the shop the morning of the Q.
Now I did say ride and cruise, that means if you want to bring out your hot rod, custom or vintage race car(just throwin' it out there) we would love to have you join the fun.

Meet up time is 9:30 a.m. at the shop, Where the love Miss Courtney from Hurts Donut will have some of her delicious creations available for you hungry riders, with a planned take off time of 10:30 a.m.

The BBQ itself will start at 5:00 p.m. and will carry on until, well, we don't really know.
We have a couple of the best BBQ guys in AZ, Beeline BBQ, to cook up some top notch eats for everyone, and the best, most rockin' DJ we know to play all the hits you've never heard before.
\
But Wait! There's More!
Not only will there be great food, choppers, hot rods, and rock n' roll records, but an honest to goodness melt your face of garage band, "The Freaks of Nature" will be doin' their worst to get you to get down.
If none of that gets you interested then you might just want to stay home.

OUT OF TOWNERS! READ THIS PART!

Our place is just a couple of miles from the shop and we have a good sized backyard at the house that we can fit a pretty good number of tents in for those of you planning on coming in from out of town/state and need a space to crash for Friday and Saturday night. We have had offers from other friends with yard space as well that have offered up their hospitality. As with anything, space is limited to some extent so let us know so we can plan ahead. Also, as another option, the PHX airport is not far from the shop so there are hotels in the area(within 3-5 mile) for those of you that need a place to stay and prefer a bed over the ground.

So, if you are planning on landing in our yard email us at haifleybros@gmail.com

That about covers it for now. We hope to see a bunch of you folks in November.
Stay tuned to the Blog for updates and any additional details.

Oh, and Kelly says to bring some girls...

Desert Cruisin'...

A handful of us took a little spin on Sunday to beat the heat.
America lost his primary belt just shy of Wickenburg so we fashioned a roadside beer joint in the shade while we waited for Kelly and the truck.

The roadside fix was a no go, so we loaded it up and Kelly and Mr. Buckner ran back to Phoenix and grabbed America's Dyna and Sportster.

Swamp Cooler

The rest of us hit the road and waited in Kirkland until those fellas made it back up and then it was off to Prescott.

When it was time to split we realized that Trapper had left the key on and killed the battery on the Shovelhead Ian had let him ride for the day (bonehead move).
Once that was sorted we grabbed a bite on the way out of town and made our way back to the Valley.
We got split up as usual. Like Kelly says, "we'd be a terrible motorcycle gang."

Good day with great dudes.

Well, it was short lived but at least Kelly got to put a few miles on it before it went to it's new home.
